Cinnamon and Spice by L.K. Below (Review #2)

Jack is smart. Jack is charming. Jack is persistent.

But Melissa is dead certain that he isn’t the guy for her. In a moment of weakness caused by his shiver-inducing voice, Melissa finally agrees to one date. She shows up on his doorstep determined to get it over and done with, but Jack has something different planned. With a home-cooked meal, wine, and cinnamon-scented candles, can he break down Melissa’s resolve?

Can he steal her heart?

I think I can become addicted to Breathless Press. Cinnamon and Spice is another of their short stories. A combination of temptation, romance and hot sex compacted into 22 pages. L.K Below has turned a Christmas spice into something of a sexual aphrodisiac, and I have to say every time I know smell cinnamon I will be thinking of this book.

Cinnamon always made her hot. Her eyes fluttered shut for a second as she breathed it in.

Why did I have to say yes? Jack had been persistent, but it was more than that. He had caught her off-guard, off-balance in the elevator, with only the sexy gravel of his voice to listen to. She should have stayed strong. Instead she had given in.

Another tempting short story from Breathless Press. These are certainly becoming addictive.
