Surrender by Heather Peters

Florist Isabella Chandler, through no fault of her own, is about to lose her business. She might as well lose her soul. With no other options she turns to Lyon Sauvage, a man she dismissed from her life five years earlier. But is she willing to pay the unexpected price of ultimate submission?

Enigmatic millionaire Lyon Sauvage lost Isabella once. He has no intention of opening his heart and suffering that mistake again. When she appears on his doorstep desperate for help, Lyon presents her with a proposition she has no choice but to accept. But will his revenge get her out of his system? Or condemn him to greater heartbreak?

This is a modern take on the Beauty and the Beast tale, only this is nothing like the animated version. This is a hot, sensual and utterly lovable tale. The hero, Lyon, in this tale is scared and hard and comes across as vicious, but as Heather Peters switches to his point of view, the reader can clearly see how besotted he is with the heroine, Isabella.

I loved the erotic love play between the two and also how they both fall in love. Lyon has always loved Isabella and always will, where as Isabella has been scared of the emotions he could evoke.

You will. "Keep your stocks and your jewels."
"Then what do you want?"
He leaned back, lacing his fingers behind his head and smiled. "You."

She tried hard to see Lyon only as a beast who had agreed to help her if she sold her body to him for the weekend. All thoughts went awry, though, as his soapy hands reached for and claimed her breasts.
"You are a rare beauty." Lyon circled each nipple with the scented soap as he slid one hand to her pussy. "Open your legs, now."

Overall a wonderful erotic read with tender romance mixed in. Heather Peters has created a wonderful twist on the fairy tale and one I recommend as another quick but delightful read.
