The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita by Lily Harlem

Writing Harita’s sexy fictional adventures is my closely guarded secret, but when her antics become a reality in my bedroom, can I handle my new husband and his fondness for dominant, copy-cat role play?

No one knows it is I, Kamini Singh who writes The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita.

The weekly column in Ichchha Magazine has been my secret for many years and penning Harita’s wild sexual experiences has been a wonderful release for my frustrated emotions as I’ve waited for my parents to find me a suitable husband.

Now they have – the delectable Damon, and I can barely contain my excitement as our wedding, and wedding night, approaches. Handing myself over to him body and soul is going to be such a treat.

So imagine my delighted surprise when my new husband asks for even more than I ever dared hope? And imagine my shock when I realised that Damon had secrets of his own which could please me, satisfy me, and take me on ecstatic journeys which got more and more daring with each adventure Harita enjoyed.

This book is a stomach-hurting read—because it’s so damn funny. Kamini is an author, but no one knows she’s the one writing The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita. She submits her tales to a magazine, each tale allowing her to explore her sexual fantasies in readiness for when her parents select a husband for her. She knows exactly what she wants and can only hope that when she does get married, her husband isn’t averse to her desires.

Enter Damon, the man her parents chose—the man Kamini finds extremely attractive and one who could possibly fit the huge bill she’s created in her mind. She agrees to do whatever he says in the bedroom, which leads to some very hot scenes where Kamini discovers the joys of sex—and the power it brings.

When her sex life starts to mirror her stories, though, she begins to wonder: Has Damon read them? There’s no way he could have seen them on her computer, so that must mean he subscribes to the magazine! With this in mind, Kamini incorporates more of her desires into her tales and waits to see if her suspicions are proved correct. Whether they are or not, she’s kept very busy enjoying the delights her husband brings her in and out of the bedroom.

Heaven wrapped in paradise?

He was also keen to hear about my editing work, which kept me busy as my publisher took on more and more stories without employing more editors.

Ichchha magazines.

I hoped, with all my heart, that when he did come home, he would bring me back a present.

A very funny read that had me roaring. I also got rather heated at some points, as the sex scenes are some of the hottest I’ve read. A really great book that I can’t recommend enough. If you love a bit of laughter with your erotica, please, please pick up The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita. It’s worth every tear that will stream down your face and every bunch of your stomach muscles. A workout while reading. A bargain all round!
