Blurb: 1764 ~ When Faryn is captured by the
mysterious and sensual dread pirate Captain Wraith Noir, who delivers her as a
slave to the flesh-hungry court of the pirate queen, she expects her future
will be bleak and death imminent. Lucky for Faryn, Wraith offers a different
destiny—he wants her for his own.
Duty, desire,
passion, revenge and treachery besiege Faryn and Wraith. With the future
uncertain, only fate, love and the truth will set them both free.
Reader Advisory:
Contains a heroine experiencing the diverse pleasures of a pirate queen’s
court, including f/f touching and scorching public sex, as well as mentions of
traditional pirating endeavors.
This book was
spot-on for the mood I was in when I picked it up. I wanted a woman taken
against her will and for her to fall in love with her abductor. I got it and I
wasn’t disappointed. Wraith is one of those characters who jumps off the page
at you with a big, fat LOOK AT ME! And you’ll look, and you’ll admire, and you’ll
wish you were Faryn. He commands your attention right from the start. His presence
is so massive that you’ll want nothing but to fall into his arms and be cosseted.
Faryn is one hell of a lucky duck!
Verdict: Well written, with such a vivid showing of
Wraith—I dare anyone not to see him how I did—A Pirate’s Bounty is one read you
DO NOT want to miss. This man will dominate your thoughts long after you’ve
finished reading.
