Three-Way Tie by Sierra Cartwright

Lindsey wins a weekend with a renowned Dom, and when she arrives, she is stunned to discover there are two men to tie her up and give her the experience of a lifetime.

Two Doms? Lindsey has no idea what to do with one renowned, unyielding, strict dominant, but when she wins a weekend with Master Rafael, she’s shocked to learn he’s invited Master Eric to join him. One sexy Dom is beyond her experience, but two gorgeous hunks focussed entirely on her...?

Rafael and Eric are determined to give Lindsey the BDSM experience of her lifetime. It’s not enough just to pleasure her physically, they won’t be satisfied unless she completes the ultimate emotional and mental journey into subspace.

In one unbelievable weekend, they take her to the edge of her limits, testing her endurance in a way only two skilled men working together can.

Reader Advisory: This story has been previously released as part of the Subspace anthology by Total-E-Bound

What a wonderful book to kick off my 2012 reviews. Some books stand out immediately because of how well-written they are, and this is one of them. A stunning mix of word construction that left me in awe of the author’s talent. Absolutely brilliant.

I loved this tale also because of the way Rafael made sure, before Lindsey even arrived for the weekend break, that she knew what she was doing and he knew exactly what she wanted. The way he continued to make sure she was comfortable and her thresholds were never breached (throughout the book) was also a very nice touch. Watching Lindsey realise that although her needs were being catered to and it mattered what she wanted, that she still had a lot to learn in the Lifestyle, was a joy to experience.

The sex scenes/play are something else. They get right into the heart of the matter quickly, and are fully explored to the point that I actually felt I was there. A movie-like experience that left me with a sense of having been pulled through a hedge backwards at incredible speed, where I was dumped out into the open, the emotions inside of me exposed, letting the whole world know that this book was a massive turn-on, one I hadn’t expected. I felt guilty somehow, for enjoying this book so much, and it led me to explore a few things about myself that I hadn’t known existed until then. It made me think—and I love a book that does that.

Verdict: To sum it up, if you love books where it’s like you’re the heroine, where you’re forced to look inside yourself and see whether there are untapped things about you, where you’re constantly surprised at how words can make you feel, and on top of all that, those words are expertly written, then I very strongly recommend Three-Way Tie. It’s exceptional.
