The Wilder Brother by Suz deMello

For Colton Wilder, the invitation to his brother’s wedding is an invitation to trouble because Colt, having had sex with the bride, knows what she’s really like. He doesn’t want his brother Max marrying selfish, manipulative Nicole Newcombe, a famous supermodel. In his view, Nicole stole the groom from her sister Dana.

For staid scientist Dana Newcombe, the invitation to her identical twin’s wedding is an invitation to humiliation. While Nicole was conniving to steal Max, Dana had wild monkey sex in a glass-walled elevator with his brother Colt.

When they meet again at the wedding, she doesn’t want to want Colt, but she can’t help remembering and re-enacting their earlier sexy tryst in oh so many different ways.

Now this story kept me gripped from the first page. Twin sisters but totally different. Nicole visits her sister and is bored one night and bets Dana’s fiancĂ©, Max, wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. Not wanting to do it but forced into it, Dana agrees. While Nicole is out with Max, his brother and Nicole’s one-time boyfriend, Colton, turns up at Dana’s apartment and takes her out.

Colton Wilder could tell the twins apart even if it was down to body size. I liked how he loved Dana’s body shape and became addicted to her. This is not an instant love at first sight but more a growing love that happens throughout the story and is believable. I thought the way Suz deMello worked out Nicole and Max’s relationship that intertwines with Colton and Dana worked really well.

Overall I found myself falling for all four characters and loving the way it worked in order for them all to have a happy ending. Colton is definitely my favourite of the two brothers.

Best Bits: When Colton begins to realise his feelings for Dana, and most of his sexual reactions to her.

Verdict: A fun and hot read that will keep you engrossed from the first page.
